Solution-Focused Depression Counseling
I pay close attention to your goals and values, and use goal-oriented treatment methods to help you find a way forward. Among other techniques, I help treat depression using Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am proud to be a conference presenter and a published author on the subject.
What is SFBT? Simply put, it is treatment that focuses on seeking wisdom and solutions beyond the problems, and taking concrete steps to implement those solutions.

My job as a therapist is to help you discover the wisdom you need to move toward a fulfilled, meaningful life. That means I won't use confrontation or try to interpret your life for you. The brief aspect of this therapy does not necessarily mean that there is a minimum or maximum number of possible counseling sessions.
